Led by 2025 WEB Award Winner Amanda Shettlesworth, MBA, SHRM-CP, PHR, this empowering session focused on turning feedback into a powerful tool for personal and professional growth. Through engaging discussion and practical takeaways, attendees learned how to seek development opportunities, advocate to be heard, and coach others with confidence and positivity. On Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, the Bloomington Women in Leadership (BWIL) group had an inspiring luncheon event, "Elevate Yourself Through Networking and Mentorship at Every Career Stage." This dynamic gathering featured engaging talks from two incredible speakers—a rising young professional, Danielle Willis and a seasoned leader, Peggy Welch—who shared their unique journeys and lessons learned through mentorship and connection. There was also an interactive bingo mixer—a fun and easy way to meet fellow attendees, expand the attendees network in a supportive and empowering environment! See photos from the event below! On July 22, 2025, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce hosted "The Talent Bridge: Empowering Workforce Growth at Every Level." The attendees were able to join us for a practical, solutions-focused event designed for employers, educators, and workforce leaders. This half-day event explored effective strategies for engaging with schools, developing meaningful internship programs, and upskilling talent at every stage. Through interactive breakout sessions and a keynote presentation from Dr. Carolyn Goerner on leading multi-generational teams, attendees were able to walk away with actionable tools to strengthen their talent pipelines and improve team communication.
