​Congratulations to Monroe County Civic Theatre on the 35th anniversary of Shakespeare in the Park! Monroe County Civic Theatre (MCCT) was founded in 1986 by a group of local artists dedicated to the goal of providing positive theater-making experiences for all members of the Bloomington community. Nearly thirty years later, MCCT is now Bloomington’s only all-volunteer, amateur community theater organization. They remain devoted to providing opportunities for individuals to know the many challenges and rewards of theater — no matter what their background or experience!

On Saturday June 1st Young Professionals Bloomington attended the WonderLab Grandfalloon: Jailbird AfterHours event. This year's program was dedicated to scientists, past and present, who are revered as change-makers in STEM.
