Bloomington Women in Leadership (BWIL) is a professional women's group that empowers, inspires, and engages through mentorships, professional development, and community. BWIL is a program of The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, and is open to Chamber and community members.

Mission

Bloomington Women in Leadership (BWIL) is designed to help professional women and their allies to build a meaningful network of women through intentional peer and mentoring relationships.

Vision

To empower, inspire, elevate, and engage women in all seasons of their leadership journey through networking, community engagement, and inspiring speaker programs.  We’re here to help find the opportunities that resonate with your professional needs and aspirations.
BWIL began in 2019 to support professional women and their allies to build a meaningful network of women through intentional peer and mentoring relationships.

For women in all seasons of their leadership journey, BWIL offers regular meetings and professional development opportunities to meet your professional needs and help you reach your aspirations.

We recognize learning as a continual process throughout one’s life. We value the opportunity to learn from the wisdom of thought leaders and experts as well as through discussion and sharing our personal experiences and perspectives.

Who: Professional women and their allies are invited to join.

What: Opportunity to connect women and their allies across professions and generations through various networking and professional development events on a regular basis.

Where: Greater Bloomington area - Events are hosted primarily at women-owned/managed businesses/organizations.

Why: Women are relational by nature and are the glue that keep communities and organizations connected. The desire to help other women succeed will help BWIL women recharge their professional batteries, develop meaningful relationships, and learn more about local women-owned and managed businesses.
