Congratulations to Indiana Members Credit Union on their Ribbon Cutting! Indiana Members Credit Union was established as Indiana University Medical Center Federal Credit Union in 1956 by employees of the Indiana University Medical Center, on what is today’s IUPUI Campus. Established as a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution, founded on and by the employees of the IU Medical Center, IMCU is still headquartered in Indianapolis and continues to maintain a branch on the campus of IUPUI. Thirteen years ago, Van Buren Township and Fire Department started saving dollars for a new Fire Station #39 in Stanford, IN. With the help of firefighters continuing to help the Township, they finally reached our goal and paid cash ($1.500,000) for a station to be built. As of May 1, 2021 they were able to occupy the station under Monroe Fire Protection District.
