The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce held its 108th Annual Meeting and Community Awards on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the Monroe Convention Center.
The Chamber recognized several honorees during the awards portion of the event. The 2023 Community Award award winners included: Chamber Ambassador of the Year – Kim Tarter, Fire Dawgs Junk Removal Chamber Ambassador Development Committee – Pamela Boswell-Dike, WFIU & WTIU; Sandra McGow, Bell Trace Senior Living; and Michele Suttile, Sincerely Yours Premier Weddings Premier Events Best of the Best – One World Enterprises New Business of the Year – Pristine House Cleaning Business of the Year Award – Duke Energy Community Anchor Award – Middle Way House 4 Under 40 – Marisa Churchill, Girls Inc. of Monroe County; Sandra McGow, Bell Trace Senior Living; Esthela O'Neill, Ivy Tech Community College; and Michele Suttile, Sincerely Yours Premier Weddings Premier Events Lifetime Achievement Award – Chris Schrader, Schrader & Associates

The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce held its 107th Annual Meeting and Community Awards on Thursday, September 29, 2022. This year, the Chamber was back fully in person at the Monroe County Convention Center.
The Chamber recognized several honorees during the awards portion of the event. This year the Chamber used a hybrid model for the celebration, with sponsors, board members, and award recipients attending in-person at the Monroe County Convention Center and Chamber members participating virtually. The Chamber recognized several honorees during the awards portion of the event. The 2021 Community Award honorees included: New Business of the Year – Switchyard Brewing Company Lloyd Olcott Community Service Award – Bethany Penrod, Middle Way House Success School Golden Key Award – Jerry Hays, Owen County State Bank Nancy Howard Diversity Award – Big Brothers Big Sisters South Central Indiana Community Anchor Award – Downtown Bloomington, Inc. Morgan Hutton Visionary Award – Jane Kupersmith, City of Bloomington Diane Breeden-Lee Catalyst Award – Emily Pike, New Hope for Families Lifetime Achievement Award – Melanie Walker, TASUS and Mick Renneisen, City of Bloomington Chamber Ambassador of the Year – Pamela Boswell-Dike The Chamber would like to extend a special thank you to the event and table sponsors of the Annual Meeting.
