With just about 100 guests this afternoon, women came together today to engage with the community by bringing donations for both The Warehouse and The Hannah Center. Here are some of the photos from the day!

On Tuesday, October 26th, the Bloomington Women in Leadership (BWIL) held it's second Inspire event of 2021 at the Bloomington Country Club. Rachel Gerber, Assistant Director for the Career Development Center at Indiana University, spoke to our members about "Ordinary Miracles." As busy professionals, we live at the intersection of many things—managing projects, schedules, and to-do lists. It’s easy, especially in busy seasons of lives, to feel bogged down by the weight of it all. Rachel gave us the tips on how to "Re-Member. Re-Orient. Re-Center." Please enjoy the photo's from the event. The first ever Community Engagement Day for the Bloomington Women in Leadership was held on Friday, August 27th as a donation drive to benefit the families of The RISE!, a transitional housing community as part of Middle Way House. Donations included housewares, cash, and gift cards. What a great night celebrating Women Excel Bloomington! Congratulations again to our 2021 honorees: Emily Pike, Esther Fuentes, Beverly Calender-Anderson, Debra Morrow, Amber Skoby, Beth Theile, and Kendra Gjerdingen. We were fortunate to have an in-person event this year, thanks to some last minute changes. We've also posted several photos on Facebook - please tag yourselves and share them! We'll be adding more photos soon, but here are a few from the celebration... Thank you to our 2021 WEB SponsorsBloomington Women in Leadership - BWIL - is a new program that we offer as a member benefit. Every other month we plan to have a BWIL lunch & presentation that will help women recharge their professional batteries, develop meaningful relationships, and learn more about local women owned and managed businesses.
Today we had the opportunity to hear Jill Harding with Tomato Fish Marketing speak about a very important topic. “STRONGER + TOGETHER” Every Woman’s success should be inspiration to another. Jill’s presentation was engaging, funny and meaningful to each BWIL attendee. We had a lucky winner that went home with a book recommended by Jill, Ambre Blends goodie bags, Dove chocolates and a FULL tummy thanks to Nameless Catering Company. Why Ambre Blends goodie bags? Jill and Brooke of Tomato Fish Marketing didn’t share about their business, instead they introduced a longtime friends business (Ambre Blends) to demonstrate “We’re strongest when we cheer each other on!” Thank you to everyone that attended and Monroe County History Center for the wonderful event space. What a great night celebrating ten years of Women Excel Bloomington! Congratulations again to our 2019 honorees: We were fortunate to have nearly half of our WEB honorees join us at this year's event... and it's wonderful to see these individuals come together again to support one another. Thank you to Schweikhardt Photography for capturing the smiles and accomplishments of these wonderful WEB honorees! We've also posted several photos on Facebook - please tag yourselves and share them!
