We truly appreciate the generosity and partnerships we have developed during this time.” states Hines. Born and raised in a small, rural town in Kentucky, Perry understands the importance of community and is committed to ensuring Wheeler Mission is positioned to lovingly provide for our Bloomington neighbors experiencing homelessness. Therefore, Wheeler Mission is excited to announce the promotion of Dana Jones to Director of Community Engagement and Services. Dana has faithfully served in a variety of leadership roles in nonprofit and ministry capacities and advocating for the most vulnerable and those experiencing homelessness for nearly 25 years within Bloomington and South-Central Indiana.
Previously as Wheeler Mission—Bloomington’s Center for Men Director, Dana, in his new role as Director of Community Engagement and Services, will lead Wheeler Mission—Bloomington by overseeing shelter operations, programming, and community relations, among other responsibilities.
