Middle Way House extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Bloomington community for their support of the Wrapped in Love Kickoff Celebration on October 12th, 2023. This annual event, which marks the inauguration of Middle Way House’s 12th annual tree sweater public art display, would not have been a success without the enthusiasm and commitment of the community.
Since 2012, Wrapped in Love tree sweaters have been prominently displayed on trees in the heart of Bloomington from October 1st through the end of the year to raise awareness of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. This year, the City of Bloomington joined forces with Middle Way House to use this platform to deliver City messages opposing violence, trafficking, and discrimination, and celebrating the community’s history and values of education, kindness, civility, and equality. As a testament to the enduring spirit of unity in Bloomington, the tree sweaters will remain on display through the end of the year, offering everyone the opportunity to view the display and allowing Middle Way House to reach more survivors in need. For more information about Wrapped in Love and Middle Way House, please visit www.middlewayhouse.org. Together, we can continue to build a community that stands up against violence and supports survivors.
