WGU Bright Future Scholarship

​Since the start of physical distancing and mandatory business closures surrounding COVID-19, millions of Americans have filed for unemployment, leading to the largest increase in unemployment in US history.
 
With so many people losing their jobs and income, many are looking to pursue new educational opportunities to help them find meaningful employment. Our goal at WGU Indiana is to help you go back to school at an affordable price. That's why we are thrilled to offer the Bright Future Scholarship, focused on helping individuals struggling with the impact of COVID-19 and considering higher education as part of their personal recovery plans.
 
This special, needs-based scholarship is for new students who can show evidence of loss of income. This scholarship will offer a total of $3,000, with $1,500 provided for the first term and $500 per term for three subsequent terms. Please pass this along to your chamber members.
