Adria Nassim will discuss her experience with a service dog as well as what service dogs may be trained to do to assist clients on the autism spectrum. Adria’s former service dog, Lucy, is now retired. She is currently working with her new service dog Thomas, also known as "Mr. T," who she was matched with through the Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN) based in Zionsville, IN. Thomas is trained to assist with diagnosis of autism and cerebral palsy. He will demonstrate some of his cues as well. Adria asks members to not pet or otherwise interact with the dog. Thank you!
