The Terre Haute Convention Center is nearing completion soon. There are three upcoming events including the Hiring Fair, Grand Opening, and Business Expo. On Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 3:00-7:00PM and Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00AM-1:00PM, the Terre Haute Convention Center will be hosting a Hiring Fair! Positions that are available are an executive chef, bartenders, banquet servers, line cooks, sales manager, administrative/marketing assistant, operations/setup/housekeeping, and banquet manager. On Saturday, April 9th from 10:00AM-1:00PM celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting and business expo at the Terre Haute Convention Center. Showcase your local business at the Terre Haute Convention Center Grand Opening Business Expo! All local businesses welcome, but spots are limited to 30 at $75 each. First come, first serve with 30 spaces available. For just $75, you will get a 10 x 10 space, 8 ft table, 1 chairs and table cloth as needed.If you need to add electricity for your booth space, there is a $65 fee. You must supply your own extension cords. Load in starting at 8:00am and be ready by 9:45am. Expo open 10am to 1pm immediately following the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony outside at front at 10am. No food or beverage allowed to be served. If you have a food service or restaurant no food and/or beverage will be allowed to be served. Feel free to bring information about your menu options. You can use the loading dock on the west side of the center (use Cherry Street to enter) to unload your items.
