While Duke Energy customers have been enjoying decreasing rates in 2023, we know there are always concerns about the potential for higher seasonal bills as summer temperatures rise. To help individuals and families in our service territory, we’ve developed a Summer Bill Toolkit containing helpful tips, programs and other useful information. Below, you will find links to several PDFs with helpful information about financial assistance and summer energy-saving tips. You’ll also find information about our Share the Light Fund®, a program that provides support for Duke Energy customers who may be struggling to pay their energy bills. We recently dedicated an additional $100,000 in funds to the program to help our customers in need. These fact sheets can be found online at duke-energy.com/customer-landing-pages/summer-high-bill. Or, you may visit the seasonal bill page (duke-energy.com/SummerBill), a comprehensive resource with information about customer assistance, seasonal savings ideas, tracking and managing your energy usage and much, much more. Duke Energy will be posting energy efficiency tips and relevant information on our social media pages throughout the remainder of the summer.
