STORYTELLING FALL FUNDRAISER SUNDAY, OCTOBER 22ND 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Beth Shalom Social Hall 3750 E. 3rd Street, Bloomington We are thrilled to announce that this October 22nd JTB will be hosting: An Afternoon of Storytelling in celebration of our 18th Chai year* *Chai (חי) is the Hebrew word for Life, a popular symbol linked to the number 18. The word’s two Hebrew letters - chet (ח) and yud (י), hold the numeric values of 8 and 10. Each storyteller will connect to the theme of “Chai” (Life). Our star-studded storytelling team includes:
Malcolm Abrams Malcolm Dalglish Krista Detor Gladys DeVane Richard Fish Sylvia McNair Francesca Sobrer This event will be complemented by an array of lavish appetizers, desserts, and surprises! 3:00-3:20 pm Pre-show music by Bloomington accordionist Svetla Vladeva 3:20-4:20 pm Storytelling 4:20-5:00 pm Post-show appetizer and dessert buffet, mingling with storytellers Master of Ceremonies will be Darrell Ann Stone.
