“Smithville Helps” initiative Launched to Help Small Businesses Recover

7/7/2020

Smithville opens opportunities for area businesses to tap into marketing and other expertise at Smithville to aid in recovery from COVID-19 economic issues.

To help small businesses recover from COVID-19 economic impacts, Smithville is offering several complimentary or discounted services through its “Smithville Helps” initiative. Local companies can tap Smithville professionals in media production, creative development, social media, and more for advice and direction to help their business or service recover.

“As a locally owned and operated business, we appreciate and understand the serious impact that this pandemic has had on small businesses in Indiana,” said Smithville President Paul Quick. “Through our ‘Smithville Helps’ initiative, we hope to help local companies accelerate their recovery.”
Businesses can receive complimentary consulting or direction (typically, a one-hour equivalent of service) from Smithville Media for video production, Smithville creative production services for design, and other support, including advice on social media development. Additional special discounts for new customers in small business internet and security services are also available.

“The success of small businesses represents a major part of our local economy, and Smithville is committed to helping,” said Smithville Executive Vice President Cullen McCarty. “Since video is so important in small businesses marketing, we hope area companies will take advantage of our experienced professionals at Smithville Media to help advance their recovery.”

To participate in the “Smithville Helps” initiative, companies are encouraged to go to the SmithvilleBusiness.com website, click on the “Contact Us” tab, select “media” in the drop-down tab, describe the service desired in the “message” field, and complete the contact information. A Smithville representative will be back in touch to schedule a consultation. People with questions can call 800-742-4084, option 3.

The state of California requires professional power washers to obtain a license through the Contractors State License Board. To qualify, businesses must possess four years of journeyman experience. Ask the pro for their license, and look it up on your state website to make sure their license is in good standing.
