Express Employment Professionals is putting job seekers to work through its fourth annual mass interviewing event, now expanded from one day to a full week, Aug. 2-6, 2021. Formerly called National Interview Day, the event was first created by the staffing company and celebrated in 2018 as a new way to recruit and educate job seekers in a historically tight labor market. With temporary business closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic adding to talent shortages across the country since last year, Express is stepping up, now more than ever, to provide hope through employment for this expanded hiring event. Job seekers are encouraged to visit ExpressPros.com/HiringEvent before Aug. 2 and complete an application to expedite the interview process. Applicants will then be contacted for interviews, possibly before Aug. 2, based on the type of work they are seeking, and as always with Express, will never be charged a fee. “Hiring is at an all-time high across the country, and Express offices are doing everything possible to help rebuild the workforce,” said Bill Stoller, Express CEO. “We are excited to interview interested job seekers during National Hiring Week in what has become the employment event of the year.” The Bloomington office will be offering complimentary resume-building materials and other treats to visitors all week. "We love being the one stop shop for the unemployed, under employed or those who want to make a career change," said Timber Tucker, franchise owner of the Bloomington Express franchise office. "Now more than ever it is important to work with us to leverage our relationships with the businesses in the community." Visitors are encouraged to follow COVID-19 safety protocols such as wearing masks and using hand sanitizer. “Opportunities are available to get back to work, and our recruiters are ready with a variety of positions,” Stoller said. “No matter the circumstances, Express continues to strive toward putting a million people to work annually!”
