WorkOne South Central has a great opportunity for local employers and are excited to announce the availability of employee training funds through the NextLevelJobs Employer Training Grant 7.0. This training reimbursement opportunity is now open for employers to apply in the Region 8 counties of Brown, Daviess, Greene, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Orange and Owen! Below is additional information to assist you with your application. Your business may be reimbursed up to $5,000 per employee trained and retained for 6 months not to exceed $50,000 per employer. Additional information is shared below including links to apply for the grant. To access and complete the online application for the Employer Training Grant go to this website: https://www.in.gov/dwd/business-services/etg/ below the "High Five" hand you will click "Apply for the Employer Training Grant". This will take you to the "Employer Training Grants" page to access the "Business Services Portal". Click on the "Red" Menu at the top right corner of the page and select "New Business Interest Form" complete all pages and submit. Your company will be required to have an "Access Indiana" account or you may create a new account by selecting the "Don't have an Access Indiana account" link. You will need your FEIN and SUTA account numbers to complete this form. Once completed and submitted it will trigger an email to be sent to you. We will also receive an email letting us know you have applied to access these training funds. Please let us know if you need assistance with completing the application process. Eligible Occupations
Training must be job skills training that aligns to an eligible occupation and is at least 40 hours in length. Training must yield a certificate, a post-secondary credential, a nationally recognized industry credential, or be specialized company training.
