New event "Spark Speed Pitch Competition" on October 5th: Applications due September 28

The Mill is hosting a new event in October, "Spark Speed Pitch Competition." Ten selected founders will each have 2 minutes to pitch a panel of judges and convince them they deserve our $500 no-strings cash prize. After the pitch, our judges will have 5 minutes to ask questions to get a better sense of their idea. 

Applicants don’t need a pitch deck–that’s how fast it’ll go! And once they sign up, we’ll get them connected for some 1:1 business finance consultation with our sponsor, German American. They’ll answer any questions on processing payments, setting up business credit, their business plan, and more!

Applications are open now and close on September 28 and anyone interested can apply here. If selected to compete, they’ll pitch live in-person at The Mill on October 5th at 2pm. There won’t be any audience, just them and the judges.

This competition happens during The Mill’s Innovation Week. We’re hosting a lot of great events – from gBETA’s Bragbox Breakfast to Crossroads and even a birthday party for us (The Mill turns 5 this year)!
