Date: 24 August 2020 Hours: 10:00 to 11:00 am Location: Online – Registration Required Our Memory Walks are a great way to share stories inspired by our exhibit galleries! These dementia-friendly Memory Walks highlight objects on display while our own stories of Monroe County. For the health and safety of all participants, this memory walk will be offered virtually. Memory Walks are a part of the Living with History programming initiative supported by the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County, Inc. VOTES FOR WOMEN! Commemorative March Date: 29 August 2020 Hours: 10:30 am to 1:00 pm Location: MCHC, 202 E 6th Street Join the Monroe County History Center on the B-Line for a march commemorating the ratification of the 19th amendment and the Indiana Women's Suffrage Centennial. Family activities, photo opportunities, and refreshments will be at the History Center at the end of the march. For updates on the commemorative march, be sure to follow monroehistory.org/events/suffrage-march/ for details. For the health and safety of all participants, masks are strongly encouraged. The commemorative march will have staggered starting times for small groups every ten minutes. Each small group will be limited to 30 participants.
