Our Memory Walks are a great way to share stories inspired by our exhibit galleries! These dementia-friendly Memory Walks highlight objects on display while our own stories of Monroe County.

Memory Walks are a part of the Living with History program initiative in partnership with the Alzheimer's and Dementia Resource Service at IU Health.

PuzzleFest 2022

The Monroe County History Center’s celebration of International Puzzle Day is back! Join us for our annual Monroe County PuzzleFest event on January 29 supported by Masterpieces, Inc., and Press Puzzles.
 
This year’s competition will be virtual using Zoom technology. Competition participants will need a computer with a webcam to take part in this year’s competition. In addition to our team division with up to four competitors per team, we are also offering a solo division. There will also be a variety of programming throughout the day including puzzle demonstrations, presentations, and other activities.
 
Our popular puzzle sale and swap will also be taking place at the Monroe County History Center on January 27 and 28. Bring puzzles in to swap out for new puzzles and while you are there, you can pick up craft kits and do-at-home puzzle activity packs.
