The annual Garage Sale is the Monroe County History Center's biggest fundraiser every year. Powered by the dedicated work of volunteers, the second weekend in June is quite an exciting time. From antiques to household items, there is sure to be something for everyone. All items are donated from the public and proceeds support the artifact preservation, exhibits, and programs at the Monroe County History Center. June 8 is an early access day for current Cook employees & active MCHC members. It will then be open to the community June 10 & 11, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

This may be the world's biggest single site garage sale, thanks to Cook, Inc. If you haven't attended in the past, this is a must see, awesome event. MCHC members and Cook Employees get a preview sale, then it's open to the public. Whichever you are, make sure to check it out. Good place to buy office furniture and supplies too! Leave a Reply. |
