John Bethell Celebrates Twenty Years of Owning John Bethell Title

​The full-service title insurance company, John Bethell Title, announced its 20th anniversary of ownership by John Bethell.

Since its inception, the company has provided real estate settlement and title insurance services in the Greater Bloomington area in Indiana. Bethell purchased the company in 2002 and is the President and Co-Owner. In 2022, Executive Vice President Kara Oltman became a Co-Owner to support operations and help provide long-term stability for the company. 
 
Bethell purchased the title company with a clear vision for its future. “I wanted John Bethell Title to be a place where both clients and team members would want to work. A company that innovated and improved the closing process and provided an exceptional experience for everyone,” Bethell said. “I also wanted to support organizations within the community.”

Over the past 20 years, the company has been successful in becoming a desirable place to work, earning awards for Best Places to Work in Bloomington 2018 and Best Places to Work in Indiana 2021. The Bloomington Board of Realtors recently named the company as its Affiliate Member of the Year.
 
The company continues to evolve and adapt with new technology to improve the closing experience for its clients. Its latest innovations include Milestone Integration Messaging System (MIMI), CertifID and a welcome packet that introduces first-time buyers and sellers to the company’s closing process.
 
As a locally owned business, John Bethell Title shares its success with the community. The company supports local organizations such as Monroe County CASA, Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington, Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County, The Sycamore Land Trust and more.
