Ivy Tech Rapid Recovery 10k Initiative

With over a half million Hoosiers filing for unemployment, Ivy Tech has an obligation to strike fast to give Hoosiers a competitive edge for employment. With this in mind, Ivy Tech is offering FREE classes and training to the first 10,000 participants who register! These classes cover a variety of subjects and job fields, and are a great way to take that first step or next step towards earning a degree or certificate.  ivytech.edu/10kclasses/

Overall, the classes are focused on Advanced Manufacturing, Information Technology, and some general Business skills.  IT/Cybersecurity options may be very beneficial as this is an area of training that continues to grow.  The classes that were selected for this project are all introductory classes, so it is a great way to test the waters on some of the training that Ivy Tech offers.  Should students want to pursue additional education afterwards, many of the fields are eligible for free tuition under Indiana’s Next Level Jobs program.
