Hoosier Hills Credit Union Drive-Up Renovations to Provide 24-Hour Banking Center

​Hoosier Hills Credit Union is set to begin construction Friday, October 1 on renovations to provide a 24-Hour Banking Center for its members. The Credit Union will be replacing the current drive-up tube lanes and the current withdrawal-only ATM and installing Smart ATMs, utilizing the same technology already in place at its new Ellettsville Service Center. HHCU’s Drive-Up facility will remain open throughout the construction project.
 
Envelope-free Smart ATMS will provide 24-hour access to check deposits, cash deposits and cash. Members will be able to insert up to 80 checks at once with no envelope or deposit slip required or insert up to 80 bills at once for cash deposits. Cash withdrawals can be made to the dollar, rather than in multiples of $10 or $20. The night deposit will remain in place and will continue to operate throughout the project and after completion.

Divided into two phases, the construction will initially close down the left four drive-up lanes, leaving the right three lanes open. The right three lanes include two drive-up tube lanes and an ATM lane. Two new, more sophisticated ATMs will be installed in the renovated lanes. Phase 1, which begins October 1, is expected to be completed by October 22. Phase 2 will begin the week of October 25 and will involve closing the right three lanes to install an additional Smart ATM. Final completion of the renovations is expected in mid-November.
