HFI Welcomes Three New Team Members

HFI has welcomed three new team members over the last few months - Tyler Blackburn, Mariah Hammond, and Katie Keene. Read more about them below!

Tyler Blackburn, Safety Manager with HFI since May 11th 2020.  Before HFI Tyler spent time as an HR and Safety Professional in the Automotive Industry and Propane Tank manufacturing industry.  What Tyler enjoys the most about his profession is that he can go out in the field and really understand what goes on at the job site.  He also enjoys training and teaching the importance of working safe every day.  In his short time with HFI he has helped the company achieve CCS (Coalition for Construction Safety) certification status and is excited about continuing to improve their safety program.

Mariah Hammond is the Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator at HFI and started this position full-time in June 2020. Mariah graduated from Indiana University in May 2020 with a B.A. in Media with a concentration in Media Advertising. She began her time with HFI part-time in March and transitioned into her full-time position post-graduation. Mariah is excited to help launch HFI into the digital landscape of marketing and advertising. She is also excited about being a part of a company that is so involved with the Bloomington community. She looks forward to what the rest of the year holds for HFI.

​Katie Keene joined HFI in April 2020 as Senior Accountant. She brings over 10 years of experience and a diverse accounting background, including 4 years as an auditor in public accounting. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Katie works directly with the CFO and other team members to manage the day-to-day financial operations and plan the future for HFI. Katie is delighted to be a part of the HFI team.
