gener8tor is offering a gBETA Main Street program - Deadline of July 19

gener8tor is a turnkey platform for the creative economy which hosts nationally ranked accelerator programs to support early-stage local startups. gBETA, a gener8tor program, is a free seven-week accelerator program normally geared toward early stage start-ups but for the first time being offered to main street, small businesses.

This summer, gener8tor will expand our program offerings with gBETA Main Street: a free, seven-week business development program in partnership with the Indiana SBDC. Eligible businesses are: 

• for profit (i.e. retailers, restaurants, service-based businesses, HVAC/Plumbing/specialty services, insurance providers, etc)
• in business as of 2/15/2021
• poised for growth

The program will be hosted virtually to allow businesses from across the state to participate.  The program will kick off on August 6, 2021. Applications are due by July 19th, 2021. The tumultuous conditions businesses faced this past year helped gBETA Indiana recognize that we have an opportunity to support our communities by applying our accelerator model to small businesses next door.

PARTICIPATING COMPANIES RECEIVE

• Individualized coaching and mentorship from the gBETA team during weekly, one-on-one meetings for the 7 week program. All participants will also be matched with a fellow cohort participant known as a “Buddy” for accountability and peer support.
  ● One-on-one meetings with 30+ mentors including subject matter experts and successful small business owners.
  ● Weekly Lunch & Learn series featuring topics relevant to Main Street businesses including understanding market size, small business operations best practices, and how to sell online. Lunch & Learn events are free and open to the public.
  ● Exclusive final reception during which participating companies have the opportunity to share their business with an audience of entrepreneurs, mentors and community members.
  ● Opportunity to build relationships within each cohort of five companies, and the community of gener8tor and gBETA alumni.
  ● Additional resources and programming through the Indiana SBDC.
