Constellation Stage & Screen presents: THE ROOM starring Tommy Wiseau: Saturday, February 17 at 7:00 & 10:00pm | Waldron Auditorium

“Oh Hai, Bloomington!” Constellation Stage & Screen is excited to present an interactive screening of the BEST bad film of all time: The Room. This year, Constellation is offering not one, but two opportunities to see this once-in-a-generation sensation. Referred to as “the Citizen Kane of bad movies,” The Room even inspired a hit Hollywood film, The Disaster Artist, starring James Franco as enigmatic auteur Tommy Wiseau. Tickets are on sale now through the Constellation Stage & Screen box office - prices go up at the door, so be sure to book in advance to save!

Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, The Room has screened for decades at rep theaters across the country, becoming one of the biggest cult films of all time. Written, directed, and produced by Tommy Wiseau, this $6 Million semi-autobiography features a bonkers plot, endlessly quotable lines, highly questionable acting, and some of the most “intense” football action in movie history. The Room is a crap-tastic masterpiece of WTF cinema that demands to be seen with a large group. Do not miss your chance to see The Room on the big screen, just as Tommy intended…
Before the screening begins, Constellation will also be hosting a short pre-show event, including a quote off and other movie-related activities. For an extra layer of fun, Constellation will be selling spoon bags, available for a $3 add-on with tickets or in the lobby before the show. Prop bags include spoons to be used for priceless moments of audience interaction. Tickets can be purchased through the Constellation Box Office for $12 in advance or $15 at-the-door. Concessions, including beer, wine, and assorted cocktails, will be available throughout both screenings. Please note: The Room is rated R for language and some of the dumbest sex scenes in movie history.

Come experience the madness for yourself… or are you a little chicken? Cheep-chip-chip-Cheep-Cheep!
