Congressman Trey Hollingsworth visited Hoosier Hills Credit Union’s new Ellettsville Service Center on Thursday, July 15 to meet with Credit Union leaders, Board and Supervisory Committee members. Following a tour of the new Service Center, Representative Hollingsworth discussed with the group such topics as developing legislation affecting financial institutions and consumers, the post-pandemic environment and effects of the pandemic on business, the mortgage and commercial lending climate, and how credit unions help their members and communities. Hollingsworth also briefly discussed his work with the Financial Services Committee.

“I am proud and excited to see Hoosier Hills Credit Union expanding to serve their members and soon-to-be members even closer to their homes with this new location,” said Hollingsworth. “Credit unions care about the communities they serve and provide valuable banking options to their members.”

Travis Markley, President and CEO of Hoosier Hills Credit Union commented, “Our impact within the Ellettsville community is already being recognized, and we’re proud of the ways in which we save both commercial and individual members money, offer new options to them, and help them achieve their financial goals. We welcomed the opportunity to show off our new Service Center to Rep. Hollingsworth. and appreciate him spending some time with us.”
