Catholic Charities Bloomington Introduces New Clinical Director

Catholic Charities Bloomington Counseling Services (CCB) would like to introduce Michael Stribling, LCSW, as the new Clinical Director effective July 16. Stribling has most recently served as the Associate Clinical Director at CCB.

Stribling has a Master of Social Work from Indiana University and had numerous life experiences and occupations that inform his practice as a therapist. He believes passionately in the work of CCB and has been with the agency since 2018. He has worked as a mentor and teacher of youth for much of his life. 

​Robin Gress, President of the CCB Advisory Council, said, “The CCB Advisory Council is looking forward to working even more closely with Michael as he assumes his new responsibilities. Not only is he a gifted therapist, but he also demonstrates a crucial understanding of how to lead a nonprofit social service agency in these difficult times, a deft administrative hand and a positive outlook that energizes his clients and his colleagues.  He is a real asset for the agency.”

Stribling has been working closely with O’Connell Case, LCSW, outgoing Clinical Director, and attending meetings with community partners to ensure a smooth leadership transition.  He is taking an active role in planning future events and fundraisers and working on strategies for the agency. Case will remain with the agency as a part-time consultant to assist with the transition.

A native of Columbus, IN, Stribling is a musician and enjoys spending time in the outdoors.
