Matrix Integration's “MiConnection” Provides Sophisticated Telephony with Concierge-Level Service
Telephony and communication systems have been stretched to the brink this past year with the increasing reliance on remote communications. Matrix Integration, an IT solutions and managed service provider for more than 1,000 businesses and schools in Indiana, Kentucky and beyond, has developed MiConnection, a best-in-class, cloud-based, hosted PBX telephony solution that provides enterprise-level features for any size business. Hotel Nashville, which has two properties in Nashville, Indiana, was ready for an IT communications partner to bring its phone system up to speed. Based on the hotel group’s requirements, Matrix Integration created a custom MiConnection solution, which included a Matrix-hosted Internet Protocol Telephony (IPT) and network firewall- egress voice prioritization, along with a 24-port PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch. 

After purchasing and installing the new equipment, Matrix now monitors and troubleshoots the system 24/7/365. The hospitality company can now depend on flat-rate phone bills every month as well as lower long-term equipment costs, since the majority of the system operates in the cloud.
