​NextLevelJobs - Employer Training Grant 4.0
Rapid Recovery CARES Act
     
We are excited to announce that the Next Level Jobs – Employer Training Grant (ETG) resumed on July 1st, 2020 and is open for employers to apply for this free training reimbursement opportunity.

NLJ Employer Training Grant 4.0 phase will allow for:
  • An increase in the maximum training reimbursement amount of $100k per employer until December 15th.
  • 25% of the $20M will be awarded to minority, women and veteran owned businesses.
  • Companies may be reimbursed for training costs up to $5,000 per newly trained employees.
  • Includes FREE 180 Skills virtual training and licensure as a training partner option for Employer Training Grant employers (see additional info below).

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS
For reimbursement employers must:
  • Employ and train workers in one of the high demand business sectors below or a COVID-19 occupation.  You may review the 147 occupations eligible for ETG reimbursement at: https://www.nextleveljobs.org/Employer/Eligible-Occupations:
                        -Advanced Manufacturing
                        -Agriculture
                        -IT & Business Services
                        -Building & Construction
                        -Health & Life Sciences
                        -Transportation & Logistics
  •  Reimbursement is limited to $5,000 per employee trained, not to exceed $100,000 per employer.
  • Employers will complete an online application.
    • Submit a short application at: https://www.indianacareerready.com/NextLevelJobs/Index?referredby=nljinquiry
    • Include company contact information
    • Specify type of training requested
    • Satisfy eligibility requirements and receive and sign a formal agreement obligating grant funding
  • For training to be eligible for reimbursement, the training must be occupational skills training tied to an in-demand occupation.
  • Funding is available for Part-time and Full-time positions.
  • Provide a Training Plan and job description for each position being trained.
  • Employers may use training providers on DWD’s eligible training provider list https://www.in.gov/dwd/3520.htm or third party training providers (onboarding training and informal job shadowing does not qualify).
  • Training must be at least 40 hours in length (minimum) resulting in a certificate or credential upon completion.
  • On January 1st, 2021 Next Level Jobs - Employer Training Grant will return to the $50k maximum reimbursement limit per employer should any funds remain.

with 700+ Skills courses!
  • Employers who have specialized training requirements can select any 180 Skills courses and organize them to create their own unique learning programs.
  • There is no limit to the number of learning programs you can create, and there is no additional expense for this service.
  • Graduates of 180 Skills Programs have opportunity to earn a nationally recognized certification.
  • Access the COVID-19 – Employer Workplace Guidance course to train workers on how to safely return to the workplace.
  • Free training on Manufacturing, Machining, Automation, Production, Health & Safety, etc.
