Application deadline for The Mill's Code/IT Academy on September 25th!

Code/IT Academy is the Mill's 10-week upskilling program for jobs as AWS Cloud Practitioners. The cohort will meet twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-7pm at The Mill. We’ll start on October 17th and wrap up on December 21st. The application deadline is September 25th and applications can be found here.

The fall 2023 session provides a detailed overview of cloud concepts, core services, security, architecture, pricing and support. You’ll gain an understanding of cloud computing concepts, independent of specific technical roles. This course is designed for participants who 1) are planning to take the AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud Practitioner exam and 2) have a basic understanding of IT services, such as networks, security, data storage, and their uses within an organization. All participants who meet attendance requirements will receive AWS Cloud Practitioner certification exam vouchers so there is no cost for them to become certified.

Additionally:

• $1,600 tuition is waived on acceptance to the program
• You must reside in Monroe County and be 18 years old by October 17, 2023
• Access to laptops provided if needed
• All classes are in person at The Mill (no virtual option)
