The Mill Code School, a gener8tor program
In the recent announcement about Recover Forward, the City of Bloomington committed money to expand opportunity to those un- and underemployed or traditionally underrepresented in the digital economy, get skills and help to move into tech careers through The Mill Code School. We have partnered with gener8tor, a turnkey platform for the creative economy to execute this program. I'm asking you to help get people more information about applying for this program that begins on October 5.

How the Program Works:
The Mill Code School is a 10-week accelerator program focused on software development. The core of the curriculum is accessing the free content across Microsoft, LinkedIn Learning, and GitHub. While the participants are pursuing their certificate, they will have concierge support to meet their goals. Participants will earn an industry-recognized Microsoft Certification as well as get benefits such as resume and cover letter assistance, interview practice and introductions to leading employers in and around Bloomington.

How Businesses Can Learn More
For more information about the certifications and program and to learn how to hire Code School graduates visit: https://www.gener8torupskilling.com/employer-interest-form or email Tia Torhorst (tia@gener8tor.com).
