Janet McCabe, director of Indiana University's Environmental Resilience Institute, has been nominated to be deputy administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
McCabe was nominated by the administration of President-Elect Joe Biden, and must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate. She previously served in the Obama administration as the EPA's acting assistant administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation.
McCabe is also a professor of practice at the IU McKinney School of Law at IUPUI. Read more about her background here.
