Winner: Ashley Pirani - Division 3

Ashley has been a resident of Monroe County since 2007. She and her husband have two children in public schools where Ashley currently serves as the PTO President. She has been employed by Shine Insurance Agency nearing 5 years where she serves as Operations Manager. Her commitment to our community runs deep and is evidenced by her roles on the Beacon, Inc Board, a past Chair of the Beacon Development Committee, and is an advisory member of The Persisterhood Workshop. She is a proud supporter of Moms Demand Action and a member of the Indiana Coalition for Public Education.
Daniel O'Neill - Division 3

Daniel is a lifelong enthusiast of teaching and learning. He was born, raised, and educated right here in Bloomington. He comes from a family of educators who deeply value public education and says that he received a fantastic education for free at MCCSC. His love of education has led him to teach over 4,000 students. In 2022, he won the Ivy Tech-Bloomington President's Award for Excellence in Instruction. Daniel is not only passionate about education, he has also been politically active his entire life. In 2016, he served as the co-campaign manager for the "Yes for MCCSC" Referendum Campaign.
