Eric Spoonmore joined the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce as its President & CEO in December 2021. Prior to joining the Chamber, Eric served for six years as the elected District 4 representative on the Monroe County Council. In addition to his service on the County Council, Eric has more than a decade of experience working as an administrator for the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. In 2023, Eric was appointed by the Monroe County Council to serve as a member of the Monroe County Capital Improvement Board of Managers – the public body that will oversee the Monroe Convention Center expansion project.​ He received his bachelor’s and M.P.A. degrees from Indiana University Bloomington where he studied management & public administration.
