Candidate: Erin Houchin (R) (i)
Erin received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and holds a Master’s degree in Political Management from The George Washington University. She previously represented the 47th District in the State Senate since 2014, which included all of Crawford, Orange, Harrison, Perry and Washington counties, and the eastern half of Dubois County. In her role as a state senator, she served as a member of the Senate Committees on Commerce & Technology, Elections, Family & Children Services, Homeland Security & Transportation, Utilities, and Veterans Affairs & the Military.
