I lead as the Director of Advocacy & Public Policy and the productive advocacy team as we strive for an optimal business climate. My role as the longest-tenured employee is to provide a perspective and context to the Chamber’s role in representing the business community. This entails the continuation of high-level member benefits, quality events, and community engagement.

I am a "Bloomerang", graduated here last century only to return a decade ago. My career is as of a lifelong public servant where I have had many roles in many different areas that affect daily life. My role at the Chamber is a real honor. I believe in what the Chamber does and what we add to our community. My wife and 6-year old son remain my center.

In my leisure time, I hang out with my son, we play basketball, read books, and play video games. He typically beats me in Mario Kart, but not all the time. 

I am learning all the layers of local government, their roles and how they interact with one another. This is the government, the elected officials that are closest to us.

The best advice I have ever been given is "Do more, think less."

A fun fact about me: I am a lifelong Deadhead.
