Homeless at Wheeler were not allowed to shower for three days while the shelter was being cleaned for the Mayors visit. Likewise, just getting out of the weather, till late evening; between 8:30 to 9:30 pm. Food is dry and hard, and hardly anything each meal. Only half cup of coffee in morning, and half cup of water or tea for lunch. No clean laundry unless having own money for laundry mat. Chairs set up like theater, where many, many cartoons are played for grown men. Etc..... Leave a Reply. |
