Check Presentation: My Sister's Closet with Shelter Insurance

Congratulations to My Sister's Closet, winner of a $5000 Essay Award from Shelter Insurance! In partnership with local agents Doug and Marcy Hazen, Shelter Insurance presented the check to My Sister's Closet in recognition of their impact on the Bloomington community. My Sister's Closet, as put so beautifully by essayist Maddie Maloy, is is a non-profit organization that provides free work attire, interview skills & job training, mentoring & advocacy services for at-risk women living in poverty who are seeking employment. Purchases at the 414 S. College Ave., boutique & eBay store fund this mission.
