The West 3rd Street location brings another convenient dining option to Bloomington’s west side while creating jobs and becoming part of the neighborhood and local business community.

On Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, Bloomington Women in Leadership (BWIL) hosted ELEVATE Every Hour: Time, Technology, and the Tools That Actually Work for Women, a luncheon focused on providing practical, accessible strategies to help you work smarter, spark creativity, solve problems, and reclaim valuable time with technology at Ivy Tech's Shreve Hall. 

Featured speaker Jasynda Radanovich—an accomplished program manager, educator, and workforce development leader specializing in adult education, strategic event execution, and public health initiatives, discussed how to elevate your confidence, your career, and your everyday life by discovering ways to manage technology distraction.

Congratulations to Monroe County CASA!

We were honored to celebrate Monroe County CASA's new home in Fountain Square with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Monroe County CASA recruits, trains, and supports court-appointed volunteers who advocate for children involved in the legal system due to abuse or neglect. Their volunteers work to ensure every child has a voice in court and the opportunity to find a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. The organization's new, larger office will provide additional space to support future growth and meet the increasing need for CASA's services throughout our community.

For the past eight years, Mirth has provided customers with a thoughtfully curated shopping experience featuring women's clothing, accessories, and elevated customer service. After outgrowing three previous locations, the boutique has expanded into a space twice the size, creating a more comfortable shopping environment and allowing for an even broader collection of carefully selected goods.

We were excited to celebrate My Sister's Closet and the opening of its new location at College Mall with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

My Sister's Closet is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women in poverty and at-risk circumstances achieve economic self-sufficiency through professional support services, career development, mentoring, life skills training, advocacy, and its Compassion Through Fashion clothing program. The new locations will expand opportunities to serve women in our community while furthering the organization's mission of reducing homelessness and breaking the cycle of multi-generational poverty.
