WTIU Public Television will host its 8th Annual Conference on Aging, a free virtual event designed to provide resources and expert insights for older adults, caregivers, and families. The conference will take place online over several weeks this fall, featuring live sessions led by healthcare providers, financial experts, and community leaders.
Topics will include health and wellness, Medicare and Social Security, caregiving strategies, financial planning, senior living options, and more. "WTIU is committed to serving our community with programming and resources that make a real difference in people's lives," said Michael Arnold, Executive Director of Integrated Public Media at WTIU. "The Conference on Aging gives older adults and their families access to valuable information, tools, and support-all free and accessible online." The event is presented in partnership with the Bloomington Health Foundation and Alternative Care Solutions, along with support from local organizations dedicated to serving the needs of older adults. Participants can register for individual sessions or the full conference. All sessions will be streamed via Zoom and include opportunities for questions and discussion. Conference registration and the full schedule are available at ipm.org/aging.
