Community invited to tour studios, meet hosts, and explore station history at free public eventWFIU Public Radio, licensed to Indiana University, is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. To mark the milestone, WFIU and WTIU are hosting a special Open House Celebration on Wednesday, October 1, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Radio-TV Building on the IU Bloomington campus.
The annual Open House invites the public behind the scenes of Indiana Public Media. Guests can tour the studios, meet station staff and program hosts, and explore how local television and radio programs are created. This year’s event will highlight WFIU’s 75 years of service to the community with historical displays, interactive exhibits, and a look at the station’s future.
