Vivum AI, a trailblazer in evolutionary AI technology, is taking the next step in its growth journey by moving to The Forge, Bloomington’s new 22,000-square-foot, sustainably designed Class-A office building in the heart of the Trades District. The company, currently based at The Mill, will transition into a larger, custom-designed space in April 2025 to support its scaling operations while remaining part of Bloomington’s vibrant innovation ecosystem.

Vivum AI’s mission is to use evolutionary AI to power a new generation of autonomous systems across all domains. Its explainable AI models dynamically adapt to new complexities, resist model drift, and bridge the gap between virtual success and real-world performance. Inspired by nature’s resilience, Vivum AI’s solutions continuously learn, transcending conventional AI limitations.

The company has achieved key milestones, including partnerships with NSWC Crane and the U.S. Air Force. Vivum AI’s is actively scaling, having closed its seed round and preparing for a Series A round in 2025.
“Our move to The Forge marks a significant milestone in our journey,” said Greg Sapp, Senior Director of Vivum AI. “The Mill has been instrumental in our growth, providing resources and community support to reach this stage. The Forge offers the space and environment we need to expand our capabilities while staying closely connected to Bloomington’s thriving innovation hub. We are excited to deepen our impact as a major connector between the Department of Defense and the cutting-edge work happening here.”

John Fernandez, Interim Executive Director and Senior Vice President of Innovation & Strategic Partnerships at The Mill, celebrated the announcement, noting, “Vivum AI is a shining example of how Bloomington supports high-tech startups in scaling and succeeding. Their groundbreaking work in AI and their partnerships with defense organizations underscore the role of the Trades District as a hub for innovation. The Forge provides the perfect platform for Vivum AI to continue growing while contributing to Bloomington’s dynamic economy and national prominence in defense technology.”

The Forge, located in Bloomington’s Trades District, offers premium office space designed to foster innovation and collaboration. It is part of Bloomington’s vision for the Trades District as a center of entrepreneurship, technology, and sustainability.
