The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department invites musicians and bands to apply for the 2026 Performing Arts Series of free, outdoor concerts in city parks all summer long. Apply online at bloomington.in.gov/concerts by Jan. 9, 2026. A jury of local arts community members will review applications and select performers. Evaluations consider:
Concert venues include Switchyard Park (1601 S. Rogers St.), Waldron, Hill and Buskirk Park (331 S. Washington St.), Hopewell Commons (630 S. Morton St.), and Bryan Park (1001 S. Henderson St.) Applications may also be used to select performers for Parks and Recreation special events such as the Holiday Market held annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. To receive full consideration, submit an application by Jan. 9. Applications will be accepted until all performance dates are filled. Booking takes place in late January through February.
