Dementia Friendly Owen County, in partnership with Area 10 Agency on Aging, will host monthly caregiver support groups throughout 2026 for family members and friends caring for someone with dementia. The groups will take place at the Owen County Library on the fourth Thursday of each month, with two session options available: 11:30am to 12:30pm and 5pm to 6pm. These sessions provide education, problem-solving strategies, and peer support for dementia care partners. Community partners supporting this initiative Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Area 10 on Aging, Elara Caring, Home Instead, Autumn Park Senior Community, Ageless Transitions, Cornerstone Caregiving, and Dynasty Haven.
