Bloomington-based Write Design Group has launched Funder Ready, a new service designed to help nonprofits and other mission-driven organizations prepare for grants, major partnerships, and other high-stakes opportunities. Funder Ready helps organizations strengthen the systems behind clear, credible communication, including the materials, language, evidence, and public presence that funders, partners, and sponsors use to understand and evaluate their work. The service is built on Write Design Group’s OPTIC² model, a framework that organizes organizational clarity into six connected layers: Operations, Public Presence, Trust, Identity, Credibility, and Communications. The model helps identify gaps, reduce misalignment, and build a stronger foundation for grants, proposals, and other important asks. “Strong organizations can still struggle to explain their impact when their story is scattered, their materials do not align, or too much institutional knowledge lives in people’s heads,” said Kelly Carnahan, managing partner of Write Design Group. “Funder Ready is designed to help organizations turn that knowledge into clearer systems, stronger materials, and a more consistent story.”
Funder Ready may be a good fit for nonprofits and mission-driven organizations that are preparing for funding, growing quickly, reintroducing themselves, or struggling to present a consistent story across their website, proposals, and core materials. Write Design Group is a Bloomington-based strategic communications and accessible design firm founded by Kelly Carnahan and Jim Stowers. Learn more at https://www.writedesigngroup.com/funder-ready.
