​Mental Health America of Monroe County (MHA-MC) invites you to celebrate the power of community and the importance of mental health at our 5th Annual Monroe County Mental Health Champions Gala, taking place on May 16, 2025 at the Bloomington Convention Center.

This special event brings together individuals and organizations dedicated to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and expanding access to essential mental health resources. We will honor the outstanding efforts of local community members and agencies who exemplify our mission to promote mental wellness and support those facing mental health challenges.

The evening will feature:

• Recognition of local heroes who have made significant contributions to mental health advocacy.
• A keynote address from Dr. Anna S. Mueller, an expert in the social roots of youth suicide.
• Updates on MHA-MC initiatives and how our efforts are making an impact.
• A delightful dinner, followed by music and dancing to close out the night.
