(DSI) partnership organization invites you to be a part of the 2024 Bloomington Health Fair – Fall into Wellness. This is your chance to connect with the community, highlight your services, and contribute to a healthier future for all.

About Us
At DSI, our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve greater independence and lead fulfilling lives. Since 1975, we have been providing comprehensive, tailored services including early intervention for infants and toddlers, residential living options, job training and placement with follow-along support, respite care, family support services, and individualized community-based programs. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

About the Health Fair
The 2024 Health Fair, titled "Fall into Wellness," will take place in Bloomington, Kokomo, Washington, and Columbus. Fall into Wellness Bloomington is currently scheduled to happen on October 28th. This event is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of preventative care, and overall health and bring together our vibrant local community. We welcome both for-profit and non-profit organizations, especially those in the health, wellness, dietary, mental, and fitness fields, to join us.

Attendees will receive a "Health Passport" and collect stamps from each booth they visit. Those who complete their passports will receive special gifts! It's a fun and engaging way for people to learn about the diverse health services and products available in our community.

DSI’s Why
Studies have found that people with disabilities are less likely to get the preventative health care services they need to stay healthy. DSI wants to change this statistic and grow resources and education to help Hoosiers with disabilities receive preventative health care measures. DSI is a proud collaborative partner with The ARC of Northeast Indiana on the preventative care innovation pilot project grant, funded by the Bureau of Disabilities Services.
