The fundraising event will be held at The Yellowwood restaurant and patio at Ivy Tech Bloomington to celebrate the School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management graduatesIvy Tech Community College Bloomington is celebrating its School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management graduates on May 7 with a Hospitality Showcase fundraising event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will serve as the final project and will be held on campus in The Yellowwood restaurant and patio. Tickets are $50 per person. Students cooked for The Yellowwood the past eight weeks with a focus on international cuisine. For their final project, each student will cook and serve a menu item of their choice to create the Hospitality Showcase menu. Itinerary:
Visitors will have a chance to tour Ivy Tech’s baking and culinary labs, along with chef demonstrations.

Proceeds go toward the Hospitality Foundation Fund to give students first-hand experiences in the local culinary and hospitality industry. The Yellowwood at Ivy Tech Bloomington is a student-run café of the culinary arts and hospitality management program. Café operations are a collaboration between culinary, baking and pastry, and management classes. Culinary and baking and pastry concentrations at Ivy Tech Bloomington are accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF). The Yellowwood is located on Ivy Tech’s campus at 200 Daniels Way, entrance seven.
