The Mill is proud to announce Innovation Week 2025, Bloomington’s annual action week celebrating creativity, technology, and civic energy. From November 4–7, local entrepreneurs, artists, researchers, and civic leaders will convene across the city to turn bold ideas into momentum.

A Week to Build the FutureEach day of Innovation Week features a distinct cluster of programming: keynotes, panels, demos, and interactive experiences designed to foster connection and spark collaboration.

Tuesday, Nov 4 — HealthTech Day
Keynote by Vincent Wong, CEO & President of BioCrossroads, on building Indiana’s life sciences ecosystem; a panel on the future of care; historical medical device pop-up exhibit; evening investing happy hour.

Wednesday, Nov 5 — GovTech Day
Keynote by Andrew Kossack, CEO & President of ARI, on emerging defense technologies; peer-to-peer roundtables; tours of Indiana University’s Applied Research Center (ARC); virtual reality civics game demo.

Thursday, Nov 6 — AI Day
Keynote by David Crandall, Director of Luddy Artificial Intelligence Center, on AI and surveillance; panel on industry transformation through AI; outdoor demos on the lawn; evening screening of an AI documentary.

Friday, Nov 7 — Arts, Community & Celebration
Keynote by Ben Swanson, Co-founder of Secretly Group, on arts in civic life; panel on how artists and innovators shape the future; Block Party in the Trades District (5–8 PM); evening film screening at IU Cinema.
